Just off the junction of I-459 and I-65, Briarwood has been a staple of Birmingham’s history since its creation in 1960. A founding member of the PCA, the church has been under the leadership of Dr. Frank Barker Jr., Dr. Harry Reeder, and its current interim pastor, Dr. Daniel Doriani.

The church is recognized for its involvement with the Christian Medical Ministry of Alabama, Campus Outreach, and Young Business Leaders, among other ventures.
